» mustang » chesnut » stallion ·············· ×x[ CREATION ]x× » i've been listening to a lot of instrumental Bond, cause i love their music. so I blame them for the inspiration  » this was fairly simple, except the mane took me longer than it should have. it started sorrel, but it looked funky so i made it darker. » the rest of the picture was made using a blue-orange gradient and a few overlay layers of grunge brushes to add some bright constrast. » i added a bit of saturation, and burned the darker points of the horse to match the shadows in the ground. » the credit for the photography is given to the amazingly talented Linda Welsh, her work is just gorgeous. i suggest checking out her akhal-teke portraits, i was speechless at the beauty of the horses and the way she captures it. ·············· ×x[ CREDITS ]x× chestnut [link] background [link] ·············· l ● v e , crimsy |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
