Finally, I've found the time to sit down and really try my hand at digital painting! I've read tons of tutorials in the last few months, picking up techniques and learning. Anything I've done up to this point was what I consider a feeble attempt with no real knowledge of how its done. So I'm pretty happy with this portrait since it took a few days' time. I painted from a photo reference and tried to make it as close to that as possible. So what's next? A realistic full body painting. Wish me luck, I'll need it. These things take foreverrr...but I'm totally fascinated by digital painting, I can't help it.

thanks for your encouragement :] but honestly i don't think so. not much of a market for horse art compared to real life jobs. and those take up my time anyway. when i was younger i had all the time in the world for art and horses, but not anymore :[
