i've been dying to explore fantasy horses for a while now, so i started with something tame by adding the horn to this stallion. took me two sittings and about 3 hours to do this piece.

i worked a lot on the crazy mane, as you can probably tell. but it was fun to let loose, heh. added some scars and what not to make him look like a warrior.

messed with the shading on the background for a more dramatic effect, and desaturated a lot. made his coat glow slightly. overall i think it was worth the effort.

wow, I love the horn! Along with the shape of a tail. Oh you inspire me, but horns take so much work...

i love this! and the horn is so unique!

BUT.

it looks like you accidentally clicked your brush over his mane, there's like, a perfect round-brush shaped grey blob on his neck.

other than that, i think this is absolutely stunning.
seriously.
i wish i had a character to use this for :love::heart:

Good work. I like especially the head-neck.

ooh crap. thats probly cause this monitor's gamma is too dark, i always have trouble cause i cant see much detail in the black areas. i'll have to fix it somehow, thx for pointing that out <3 and glad u like. yeah ive never even rped fantasy *shrugs* its intriguing but it'd be totally different, i think..
