12/29 Update:
I took into account the suggestions from you guys and added some misty snow around the legs to soften things up. i also added more purple and i threw on a gaussian blur to give it a more dreamy feel.

I made this for *LostEscape's contest here [link] Hope you guys like it! I went a lil crazy with the dodge tool, i know. I've been really sick since last Thursday, so I've been miserable. I've been struggling all weekend to make something for this contest. I went through lots of horses trying to pair them up and make them look like a cute couple. It was always a total failure.. until I just gave up and used these two. I worked on it pretty much all day today, and I'm really glad I did.
I think the glowing snow reminds me of the waves at the bottom of a pool in the small thumbnail version. I love working with these colors. I'm just glad I ended up with a decent snow-themed manip, finally. If I never had I would probably have given up on manipulating for a while.. just been really sick and down lately. I think this is one of my better works. This sorta made my day, and I hope it makes yours too :]
